Benji Moore how was your season?
Well the beginning of my season started off slow since I had to sit out the first two games. We had a couple of losses but going through as a young team we progressed. As for me it was a definite learning experience
What does football mean to you?
Everything allows me to be free and step away from any issues I might be having outside of football, its my safe place.
Favorite memory this season?
My favorite memory this season is last game. Considering the fact that last game was a win or go home, my team and I came out and fought with every ounce of energy we had to beat our opponent so we could be able to play in this city title
What do you like about playing QB?
Being able to be the leader. Having the ball in my hands every play!! Being able to have my teammates trust to lead them on.
When I say Quincy Patterson... What does that mean to you?
That name Quincy Patterson, that’s the most valuable name I ever heard regarding school and football. I look up to Quincy as if he was my big brother. I’ve been watching him ever since I was in the 7th grade. To learn from him was the most exciting opportunity ever.
Give some player on Solorio Academy I should be on a lookout for?
Not to dismiss your question, but you should be on the lookout for the whole team. We have so much pure potential with young talent. But if I were to be on the look out for one player I say be on the look out for Amarius Weatherspoon. His heart for the game is outstanding and mind blowing. He had the craziest injury this season, but when he comes back I guarantee that it’s going to be the craziest thing ever. You might want to be there to see it
