Cooper Willman Sterling Class of 2020 QB 6'0 175
Cooper Willman how has your season been so far?
My season has gone very successful. Coming in this season playing a little bit different roll but still playing my game. Happy to play a roll on a very successful team.
Favorite memory so far?
Best memory has to be playing Kaneland week 4 because we were both highly ranked in state and to beat them handily was a statement for our team.
What does Sterling football mean to you?
Growing up as a Sterling kid it means a lot to me. Always going to the games and just imagining how cool it would be to be in those shoes. Just having the ability to put on the uniform and have Sterling across my chest and put on a show for the town means a lot.
So what do you guys see in this Boylan team?
We see a very run heavy team and everyone knows that we sometimes struggle in the run game. I and our team hasn’t felt more ready for a game all season. I excited to see how special we can really be.
Who are some young Sterling players I should keep an eye out on?
Junior Aidan Munoz-Ripley, Sophomore Jashawn Howard, Sophomore Trevon Jordan, Sophomore Nick Simister, Freshman Jason Farnham, and Freshman Carter Ryan. They all have talent and I’m curious to see how they work in the offseason to make our program better in the upcoming seasons.
What would you like college coaches to know about you?
I would like to let college coaches know that I’m a three sport athlete all my life and I put the time and work in to be successful.
