DeAngelo Hudson welcome back!!! How has your season been so far for you?
My season has been great so far I’ve been a real big asset for our offense since week 1. Putting up great numbers and getting the job done whenever my number is called
Simeon got over the hump with the Phillips win this season... What did that win mean to you guys?
That win was real big for us that let us know that we’re back. The fact we haven’t won that rivalry game in some time gave us bragging rights. Phillips being one of the better teams in the state made us realize that we can compete with the best
Favorite memory so far in this season?
Last week against LWW, when I scored the 67 yard touchdown right after the refs kind of got us with the incomplete pass that they ruled a catch resulting in them scoring. Then I came back the first play of the drive and scored to put the game away.
I can’t forget I had 100+ all purpose yards and 3 touchdowns on my senior night
How tough was Lincoln Way West?
Those boys came to play nobody gave us that type of competition the whole season not even Phillips. That was a wake up game we needed to let us know it’s only going to get harder from here on out.
So what do you see in this Nazareth team?
They’re a real talented & physical group. They have some ball players that’s going to give it all they got every down. They just haven’t seen anything like the Wolverines yet
What schools have you been talking to?
Western Illinois, Toledo, Quincy, Davenport, Ball State Rutgers, Minnesota State of Moorhead, Eastern Illinois, Wyoming, the list goes on but those are the main schools
When I say "senior season" what does that mean to you?
My last year doing what I love without it being a business. Everybody from your coaches to your teammates to the managers do everything out of real love from watching you grow from a young pup to a big dog. After this the football world will be all about business, that’s why high school ball is the best thing that ever happened to me
