Bret Bushka how has your season been going so far?
It’s been growing great. Our team is 10-0, conference champions, made the playoffs for the first time in 19 years, and we’re the first upstate 8 team to win a first round playoff game in 10 years. Personally, I have 39 total touchdowns and I was just named offensive player of the year in our conference
Favorite memory so far this season?
It would have to be capping our 9-0 season with a big win against Larkin and solidifying our conference championship
What does football mean to you?
It means a lot to me. It’s a game that has taught me so much and is a literal part of who I am
Any funny Anthony Shockey stories?
Haha not really

I can give you a couple, OJ Miles, Jason Torrevillas, and Deon Cook
What would you like college coaches to know about you?
They should know that when they’re critiquing me, I listen for the message and not pay attention to the tone. In the heat of the moment, coaches like to get fired up and some players don’t understand that they only get that way because they’re so passionate.
What is your favorite route to throw to?
For sure a post because I like to air it out and when it is successful, the play usually results in a momentum swing.
What will it take for a GBE win in Round 2?
Every one on our team needs to be focused, take their preparation seriously every day this week, and ultimately be 100% disciplined
