Korey Yarc how has your season been so far?
So far it’s been a lot of fun. Been working really hard since the beginning of June and it’s nice to see the hard work paying off
What is your favorite memory of this season so far?
So far my favorite memory would have to be kicking the game winner against Stillman Valley in double overtime for our homecoming game
What is biggest misconception about kicking that people have?
I think a lot of people think that it’s easy to do consistently. I feel like everybody can have a good kick every once in a while but to do it the same every time is a lot tougher than it seems
What does North Boone need to do to win Friday night against Lisle?
I think to put it into one word we just need to execute. I feel like the game plan we cake up with today at film is good enough for us to beat them. If we just go out and do what we do every week we should have no problems
Besides Britton who is another kid on North Boone that people need to keep an eye out for?
I think a player people need to look out for is Nolan Zajac. So far this year he’s had some huge plays on the offensive side of the ball and he’s kind of the anchor in the middle of our defense every week
Least favorite weather to kick in?
It would probably be when it’s rainy and wet out. Makes it a lot harder to plant my left foot the right way.
Toughest field that you have had to kick on?
Probably Dixon. The 40 was pretty torn up on both sides so it was tough to kick the ball like I wanted to
This is your Senior Season- What does that mean to you?
It means a lot to me. Means it’s really our last chance. I came to north Boone as a freshman but this is the season everybody’s been talking about since 4th grade. This is it for all of us
