So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams.

Chris Raffin Huntley QB Class of 2019 6'0 183

Chris Raffin how has your season been so far?

I believe my season has been very well and better then most people thought. I think the team has really come together and is looking really really good

Tough loss to Cary Grove, What do you guys need to do to get back on the horse?

It’s just those mental mistakes and beating our selves up . We need to just focus and really lock in and play football like we did against Jacobs and PR

Favorite memory so far this season?

Our 8:00 drive to beat PR in the 4th quarter

What would you like college coaches to know about you?

I am underlooked but That I am just as capable as any qb even though I am a 1 year starter

How good can this Huntley team be?

I think everyone is underestimating us . But we can be a very lethal team

What game left this season are you looking most forward to?

Playoffs ! I believe this team can make a deep run

Any young Huntley players that have impressed you so far in the season?

Ryder Havens , Brad Walker and Alex Janke

This is your Senior Season.. What does that mean to you and what advice do you have for the Class of 2022?

It means a lot since this is the last year I’ll play with all my guys since we started in 2nd and 3rd grade , my advice to underclass men is make the most of it and enjoy it while it last

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting But About The Love Of The Game Of Football In The IHSA

RESPECT THE GAME
