Payton Hutchings how has the first two weeks of the season been for you?
The first two weeks have been very fun. Playing two really good programs and getting after it is awesome.
First thing that you think will be a huge obstacle against Herscher for you guys this Friday night?
Herscher is a very athletic team
How good can this Coal City team be this season?
We can be as good as we want to be. If we keep putting in the work and get better everyday I think the sky is the limit with this team.
What does being a multiple sport athlete mean to you?
It means that I am a hard worker, dedicated, and helps me be a better leader and all around person
What young player on Coal City should I keep an eye on and why?
Asa Cooper. He is a very hard worker and has a very high football IQ. He has all the skills you want in a player will only get better.
What does Coal City football mean to you?
Coal City football means a lot to me. I have been around it since i was old enough to walk. All my family played Coaler football and I loved going to watch them play, and now I am just honored to wear the green and the gold on Friday Nights. Coaler football has a very rich tradition and I am blessed that I can be apart of it.
