Tyler Elsbury what schools have you been talking to?
Purdue, Iowa, Northwestern, NIU, Mizzou, Wisconsin a little and some others that just send camp invites and stuff
What would you like college coaches to know about you?
I am willing to play anywhere, and that I don’t like to ask lots of questions. I am more of a if I messed up I wanna mess up going all out.
Favorite memory from last season?
When I was at camp and there was a bat in my coaches room. So the team had to go get it out and our head coach got locked in by our assistant coach with the bat.
How does Byron look this season?
Inexperienced is the best way to put it but we are still very athletic. It is going to be interesting to see how everyone grows, learns and comes together as a team.
What does Byron football mean to you?
Byron football is family. Meaning I’m not gonna remember the wins and loses as much as I am going to remember the people and maintain all the connections with friends that have come with playing football.
Toughest defensive linemen you faced last season?
I don’t know his name but he is from immaculate conception number 77 and weather came into play but still very tuff
Funniest guy on the Bryon team?
My buddy Ryan Keller
What game are you most looking forward to this season?
North Boone...
Last year, we had struggle against QB Britton Morris as a junior, and the game was closer than the score board said, and this year we don’t have the size on the line as we did last year. So I’m am really looking forward to the challenge of competing against them again and putting my team to the test.
When I say "SMASHMOUTH FOOTBALL" what does that mean to you?
It means putting your hand in the dirt, staring at the guy across from you, and on the snap of the ball you put your shoulder pad right under his face mask and you drive him in the dirt with no fear of you ever backing out of a challenge. Smash mouth football is Byron football.
