Chatting With Bolingbrook's Cameron Palmer LB/DB Class Of 2019 About Upcoming Season & Recru

So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams

Cameron Palmer LB/S Class of 2019 Bolingbrook 5'11 200

Cameron Palmer what schools are you talking to?

I’ve been talking to coaches from Valparaiso, Bowdoin, UIndy, Missouri Western, and Fordham

What would you like college coaches to know about you?

Not to underestimate... I’m probably one the most hardworking people you’ll meet, self motivated, goal oriented, beyond athletic, and most definitely hard hitting

What is one thing you work on in the offseason to improve for the upcoming season?

Im always working on being a better athletically and mentally. I’m training 6 days a week outside of our team practices, and I’ve started to do research different defenses and coverages just to understand the game better

What goal do you have for yourself this season?

I'm aiming for 130+ total tackles on the season and hopefully state

What is worse to you? Missing a tackle or missing a assignment?

Thats a hard one.....

I’d say missing an assignment is worse because that can lead to the other team scoring because you weren’t where you needed to be, but hopefully if you miss a tackle you have 10 other teammates who can come help you out

What do you like about playing on the defense?

You get the opportunity to just play fast and hit someone. Not to mention defense wins games...you’ll never see a team win with 0 points

This is your last year of putting the red on.... What do you tell future raider players about the program?

Just that hard work always pays off in then end, and to enjoy every moment cause there’s nothing like playing under the lights

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting But About The Love Of The Game Of Football In The IHSA

RESPECT THE GAME
