So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams

Jarin Edwards Plainfield Central Class of 2020 ATH 5'11 170

Jarin Edwards what schools have you talked to?

I haven’t talked to any schools yet but I hope to get some looks after this following season.

How does Plainfield Central look so far this summer?

We are looking pretty solid and working towards getting better and playing as a unit everyday. I’m very excited for this upcoming season to see what we do.

What would you like college coaches to know about you?

I’m a very hard worker and able to be coached. And that I’m dedicated to the game and will do what it takes to get to the next level.

Toughest player you went up against?

I don’t have a specific player but the toughest team I’ve played was Oswego. They had a lot of talent and were well coached.

What position do you feel most comfortable with?

I enjoy going both ways but I feel most comfortable playing any DB position, Specifically safety.

What does Plainfield Central football mean to you?

It means a lot to me because of the culture we are building here. My coaches and teammates have sacrificed a lot for this program so it only makes sense for me to take pride in what we have going on .

What do you tell kids that are on the fence about joining the program next season?

I tell them that this program isn’t meant for everybody because of how much you need to sacrifice for your team. But once you figure out what it means to be apart of something bigger than yourself it’s a great feeling and life skills you can take with you for the rest of your life.

What goal do you have for yourself this season?

My main goal is too lead my team in the right direction and do what it takes to help my team succeed.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting But About The Love Of The Game Of Football In The IHSA

RESPECT THE GAME
