Femi Oginni Class of 2019 DT Hoffman Estates 5'11 245

Femi Oginni what schools have you been talking to?

The schools that are recruiting me are Carthage, Denison, Concordia and Wisconsin Steven point. That’s about it I have talked to more at camps but those colleges that are recruiting me.

What does football mean to you?

Football means a lot to me. Its the best time of the year. it’s take mental and a physical approach to it that mean everything. It’s the true definition that if you work hard things will pay off for you and your team in the long run.

What do you like about playing in the trenches?

What I like about it. Is that you have to impose your will on someone and to be dominant in the trenches can help my team win games. Overall it’s fun to hit someone every play

How is Hoffman Estates looking this season?

Hoffman is looking great. we may have lost a lot of starters from last year but we have a lot of leadership. We have people who wanna be here everyday. Our coach said this summer camp was one of our most productive summers camps he has had at Hoffman. We may have a lot of people who’s hasn’t played a lot of varsity snaps but they are up to the challenge.

Favorite memory from last season?

My favorite memory was playing in the semifinal game against Prairie Ridge. Even though we lost but at the game the energy was there and when you felt that energy it’s unforgettable.

What would you like college coaches to know about you?

I would want them to know that I’m a hardworking person. I always show up to practice with energy. And I will be contributing player to they team.

Toughest offensive line you faced last season?

Conant's oline was one of the toughest olines I faced. Their center was a beast I got him on a few plays but his oline made it hard for me

Where do you see yourself in 3 years?

Playing college football at one of the places that are recruiting me and getting my degree in business.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting But About The Love Of The Game Of Football In The IHSA
