What does football mean to you?
In all honesty sir, football means the world to me. I’ve grown up playing it and all I can say is that this sport has done a lot for me. I’ve learned how to be a man. I’ve learned that in order to get what I want in life that I need to work my absolute hardest for it. This sport alone has shown me the many opportunities it has. I’m fortunate enough to be able to play at the next level. I can’t say enough on how much this sport means to me. I’ll forever treasure the memories I made with my many teammates and coaches.
What should college coaches know about you?
They should know that I’m a hard worker. Set backs won’t determine me on whether or not to not play my hardest. As a matter of fact I push myself even harder to make myself better as a player to help benefit my team when set back happen. I strive to be the best player and student I can be. If they give me an order I follow it with flying colors. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to craft my technique.
Favorite memory from last season?
My favorite memory from last season was getting closer with my teammates. Creating a stronger bond so hopefully this season we’ll be able to ball out better than last years. Especially since we’ve started in a new competitive conference.
So how does University look this season?
In my opinion, I think our team is looking great. Our team is quite young however and we had a couple people transfer but we’re not letting that defy how our season goes. I think the entire team is taking it well. Using all these mishaps to our advantage.
What will be the biggest challenge for you guys this season?
Again with us being so young, I think that will be our biggest challenge. I know too that not a lot of people have faith in our team in this new conference. However I’m looking to prove them wrong sir.
What do you like about playing on the defense?
I really like to hit sir, that’s why the defensive side of the ball has always intrigued me. Plus, the challenge of having to figure out what the offense next move is. I really enjoy too the preparation process that goes in preparing to compete against the offense on the field.
