Sam Farber what schools have you been talking to?
I've been talking to Drake, Davidson, Valpo, Stetson, Brown, Dayton and a couple of D2 and D3 schools
What does football mean to you?
Football means the world to me.. Honestly I don't know where I would be without it. Suiting up with my brothers on Friday nights and being able to ball out with them, there's nothing better.
Alright who is the smartest player on the Stevenson roster?
There's so many smart kids at Stevenson it's hard to pick just one. So Football wise I'd have to go with our Quarterback Cole Okmin, his ability to read defensive coverages and make the right decision 99% of the time is very impressive.
What would you like college coaches to know about you?
It's important for college coaches to know that I'm gonna be the hardest working and most competitive guy on their roster. In football and everything else that I do, I can never settle for average and I am always going to go above and beyond being mediocre.
Any funny Coach Hjorth stories?
When he sees the 5 guys on his list...it's over
Favorite pre-game meal?
I'd have to go with pasta with chicken from noodles and company
Favorite memory from last season?
Even though last season didn't go as well as we wanted to, I would definitely have to say my favorite memory was our season opener on the road at Palatine. Going into my first varsity game as an underdog, I was ready to compete. We were all ready to unleash what we spent the entire offseason working on and it definitely showed, as in the end as we got the win to start the season
Game you are looking most forward to this season?
I'm looking forward to every game that we have but when we play Lake Zurich it'll definitely be the game that we're all looking forward to for numerous reasons.
