Gavin is that never say never football player that I love to talk about. The kid is a competitor on the field, and doesnt go down after the first the hit. Great burst of speed through the gap, not to mention the fact he is not afraid to challenge for extra yards.
Gavin Bilbruck what schools have you been talking to?
I have reached out to schools Southwest Minnesota State, Eastern Illinois, McKendree, and Murray State

What would you like college coaches to know about you?
I love the game and will do anything to make my team successful. I have dedicated my high school career to becoming a better student and athlete and I hope to continue that in my college career.
Favorite memory from last season?
Raising the first conference championship our school has ever won with my teammates or my 65 yard touchdown against Nashville where I broke at 6 or 7 tackles.
What does Wesclin football mean to you?
It means a band of brothers that will put it all on the line for each other, push out the best and have the same goal in mind. We all want to prove that the team is worth coming out for and something to look forward to every Friday night.
So how does Wesclin look this season?
We look as good or a bit better than last years team since we have a lot of juniors and underclass men from last year returning and those guys are putting in a lot of work to meet the standards so that we are as successful as we were a year ago.
Game you are looking most forward to this season?
Columbia, because they are the biggest threat towards winning the conference championship and they are one the larger schools that we play and it’ll show a smaller school can play with a larger school
Give me a player on Wesclin that people need to check out besides yourself?
Our quarterback, Brandt Goings, he was a wide receiver and back up quarterback last year for us and was a huge part of our success. He might not be the biggest guy on the field but has the heart and will bigger than a lot of the guys out there. He may not have as many highlights as of now but when the season starts I see huge things coming from him.
What goal do you have for yourself this season?
Become one of the best running backs not just in southern Illinois but the entire state.
