Kaufman is fast, and that is always good for a linebacker trying to play at the college level. Great job of reading his keys and making the play. The huge part of being a good linebacker is the ability to take on blockers and Kaufman does a great job.
Mike Kaufman what schools have you been talking to?
Western Illinois and Illinois state have messaged me over Twitter and other schools have come to visit RBCHS such as Southern Illinois and University of North Dakota
Favorite memory from last season?
Winning the first round of playoffs and knowing we would have another game to play next week
What should college coaches know about you?
I’m a team player and can play anywhere that’s needed and I love to compete
What does football mean to you?
It means a lot to me because I’ve loved it since I was little and I invest a lot of time in to the sport and its also a way to futher my education
What do you like about playing linebacker?
I like the aggressiveness of the position the most
What game are you looking most forward to this season?
Definitely the game against Johnsburg because they’re our rivals
How does Richmond Burton look this season?
The team is looking very sharp we’re adjusting well to a new head coach and we’re very anxious for the season to start in August
