Niko Kasprzycki Class of 2019 Benet TE/WR 6'6 225
COACH BIG PETE'S TAKE
Niko a name has been told to me by many players, alumni, and coaches. No real game film, but tall frame and ability to catch the ball is what makes him special. Take a look at some of the clips on his twitter profile you will be impressed. Niko is on my watchlist, he will be very popular this fall for college coaches.
Niko Kasprzycki what schools have you been talking to?
I haven’t been talking to many schools but the biggest school I have been talking to so far is The University of North Dakota. What does football mean to you?
Football to me is more than just a sport. The season is truly the highlight of my year. I am so invested in it that when it’s the off-season, I strive to be the better player during all my workouts and practices. It ties me and my teammates together and I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say it is truly unmatched by any other sport. Favorite memory from last season?
My favorite memory from last season would have to be when my team was down against Lincoln Way Central, and my teammate Nick Keyes scored in a very clutch situation to get us ahead and eventually secure the win. What do you like about playing Tight End?
I enjoy playing tight end because my body size suits me well and it is a great mix between blocking with the big boys on the line and showing my skills with the receivers. What should college coaches know about you?
College coaches should know that I and truly invested in football and I have a great work ethic when it comes to the offseason. I treat every practice like it is a game with the same intensity. What goal do you have for yourself this season?
The goal I have set for myself, and my head coach Pat New, is to beat Benet Academy’s all time receiving yards, catches, and touchdown scoring records. Toughest player on the Benet team?
I would say the toughest players on Benet Academy, aside from me, would have to be Billy Lawler and Jack Cooney, two of our outstanding defensive backs. They both always gives me a great look at practice and help me to further develops as a player.
Favorite route to run?
My favorite route to run is a 10 yard in or dig because I am both a deep and shallow threat to defensive coverages.
