Leonard Smith burst onto the IHSA football scene during his freshman putting up big numbers at Hubbard. Now at Phillips for his senior season Leonard Smith will be putting up some huge numbers with the Wildcats.

What does football mean to you?
Football is more than just a game. It means everything to me. It gives me a chance to show many everyone a side of me that I dont show many
Favorite memory from last season?
My favorite memory from last season at Hubbard was our second game of the season again Aurora Christian. Many doubt us and we came up short but we all came out and played football as brothers. I could never forget that game
What motivates a Leonard Smith?
My mom motivates me to be the best version of me that I can be. She made me who I am today
What is one thing you want college coaches to know about you?
I want college coaches to know that I stand for something. I'm hardworking and determined to be a student-athlete
Favorite WR you liked throwing to? Why?
Right now at Phillips I have three major WRS that I throw too. I like throwing to all three because they are consistent and very athletic
