Talking With Montini's WR Scott West Class Of 2019 About Recruiting, Bronco Football

So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams.

Scott West Montini Class of 2019 6'0 155 WR

COACH BIG PETE'S TAKE

Have Scott West as one of the best WRs in the Chicagoland area. Ability to run crisp routes and stretch the coverages is what make Mr. West a complete WR. His frame is a perfect fit for any college offense, can make those clutch catches.

Scott West what schools have you been talking to?

I’ve been in contact with Drake, Holy Cross, Sioux Falls, Minnesota State Moorhead, and Concordia St. Paul.

What have you been working on in your game for the offseason?

Of course been trying to get faster by doing track and a main goal of mine is to get stronger. If Im trying to be serious about going to the next level I have to focus on gaining more weight by lifting more serious this offseason.

Has your brother given you any advice about recruiting?

A little bit, he’s always been a huge role model in my life and he has been telling me everything I need to know about the whole recruiting process.

What would you like college coaches to know about you?

Not to only know me as Mitch’s younger brother. I have my own unique style of play on both sides of the ball and I have the ability to make big plays.

Its Early.. How does Montini look for 2018?

I love how our team is coming along in the offseason so far. We have a decent amount of returning starters and our younger class is very solid. I see us making a long run, and our tough regular season schedule will only make us a better team for the playoffs.

What is your favorite route to run?

I love the skinny post, I feel as if my speed favors me especially in that route and I have trust in whoever our QB is for next season to be able to get the ball out there. If the ball is under thrown I can come back and make a play on it,

What does football mean to you?

Football means the world to me. While I’m playing football I can forget about everything else in my life and just go out there and play the game I love.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting But About The Love Of The Game Of Football In The IHSA

RESPECT THE GAME
