So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect for their roles on their respective teams.

Coach Big Pete's Take
Ricky Mysliwiec is one of the better linemen in the state of Illinois, and could be seen as interior OL or a Alpha Zone Linemen. Either way he is great on defense and really like the way he shoots the gap and stays in his gap assignment. Great low base, and ability to fire out is something you crave in a linemen.
So Ricky Mysliwiec what schools have you been talking to?
Some schools that have contacted me and and I have talked to are Harvard , UPenn , Holy Cross , South West Minnesota State , Cincinnati, Buffalo but with the busy season , this off season goal is to be in contact with more schools
ICCP won their 2nd straight title last season, What are you guys doing to keep level heads for next season?
Just getting back to the basics . Remembering that it’s a new season and everyone starts with same record , also that nothing is handed to us just because we won back to back titles ,doesn’t mean we are entitled to anything, we are going to push hard and work hard everyday.
There is alot of misconceptions about ICCP football, but one thing people dont understand is you guys have alot of multi sport athletes.. Why do you think you guys have so many multi sport athletes?
Because we are always looking to get better and even though it’s not football season we take skills that we learn and put them in other sports to succeed and also to stay in shape and conditioned
What do you need to improve on in your game?
I think , I need to train harder and become more explosive when finishing blocks and I always can work on my conditioning and I also think I should be quicker as well
Favorite moment from last season?
Of course winning state would have to be up there ,but actually going into Byron on the road , fighting adversity and coming out the win . This game was the best game I have been apart of and it was the best moment for me
ICCP Football Coaching Staff is huge, alot of volunteer coaches, Name me one coach that you could see being a head coach in the future?
They are all great coaches , I can’t just pick one . Each and everyone of our coaches brings a skill set to the table that helps the team succeed .
Name me one player at ICCP to look out for in 2020/2021?
Another tough question , there are a bunch of players who have the skill set and the ability to be great players .
