Lake Zurich Bear It Out Over Mt.Carmel 14-7 Final Score advance to 7A State Title Game

Sloppy game play, and mental mistakes a plenty made for an actual pretty entertaining game. Lake Zurich defense was swarming and Wisconsin commit Jack Sanborn made some key tackles to stop the Caravan offense. Bears RB Joey Stutzman had 1 td and had hell of game running the ball, not to mention Lake Zurich Offensive Line making holes for their RB. Stutzman also had a couple plays on the defensive side of the ball, cant forget the great job of punting done by QB Evan Lewandowski. Lake Zurich had a field day exploiting Mt.Carmel in the inside gaps, that will be a killer for a defensive mentality, No doubt about it that Mt.Carmel will be back next season in the playoffs, they have young group of playmakers. Lake Zurich now advance and punch their ticket to the Class 7A State Title game that looks to be a great game against Batavia.
