Dylan Thomas WR Monticello 6'0 180 Class of 2018 Illinois Commit
Garrick McGee WR all the way that is still very raw, but can be a diamond in the ruff coming years- Coach Big Pete Scouting Comment
So Dylan Thomas what does Monticello football mean to you, as you are entering your last regular season game this Friday?
It means a lot just due to the fact that it’s a small town so everyone comes out to the games and the atmosphere is always amazing. I definitely have that senior feeling of high school football being almost over.
What is one thing that Monticello Football and or Coaching Staff has taught you?
Wow that’s hard because they have taught me so many life lessons. The most important is they taught me how to be a man by being honest, respectful, and kind to everyone.
What do you have to say to a small school recruit who is down on himself ?
I would say that you will never get as much attention as a recruit from Chicago for example but if you work really hard and just believe you can do it then you will.
You are a Illini commit, What do you like about Lovie Smith and Staff?
They have a lot of NFL experience which shows that they all are great coaches. There is just something about Coach Smith that makes you want to give him everything you have and some. I also love how it’s bigger than football too. They always ask how school and my family are doing.
What is one thing that you would like ILLNI Nation to know about you?
That I might not be the most highly ranked guy but I can get the job done
Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting But About The Love Of The Game Of Football In The IHSA
