Deep Dish Football Game of the Week: Herscher 34 Manteno 27 Final "Thrills In Seebach"

Interstate Eight is producing some dramatic games for Deep Dish Football, and what these kids did tonight deserves a standing ovation. Herscher looks good to be considered one of the top dogs in 4A and Manteno looks scary if they get into the playoffs. First five minutes of the game we had two scores with long yardage plays, that I thought was going to be high scoring game. Seemed like everything settled down and Herscher QB Jarnagin and Koranda at RB moved the ball great against Manteno. Shane Warren QB out of Manteno made some key passes along with new name added in the Panther mix Anthony Lopez. Herscher looked dazed after the first half, but they re-grouped with some key play calls that set them up for the win. Interception by Herscher's Cross sealed the deal against Manteno with 34-27 Win. Manteno has nothing to be ashamed about they left it on the field, and they will only get better. ..
