Justin Johnson how was your 2019 season?
2019 season was definitely a lesson learned. We failed as a team to make the playoffs by 1 game but if we get this chance to play in the spring everyone is going to see how we dominate. As far as me I had a great season first time playing Defensive Back. I had minor mistakes in games that definitely will be fixed this upcoming season this pandemic was definitely a time to get better. There were games I definitely stood out from everybody on the field and I promise this upcoming season I’m going to be somebody to watch!
What would you like college coaches to know about you?
I’m a very hard worker. Very respectful and I’m reliable and a great teammate. You don’t have to tell me anything multiple times I get it done on the first say so. I’m just tryna play what I live at the next level
What does football mean to you?
It means everything I look at it as a way out. A way to take care of my family cause if I don’t who will?... Nobody that’s why I give it my all
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
I feel my strongest trait is being a team player I communicate very well on and off the field. And that’s key cause without communication leads to bad games and bad energy you don’t want
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
Definitely my footwork and my awareness knowing what’s going on at all times on the field and being able to locate where the ball is at all times on the field and I feel like that’s key to being a Defensive Back.
