Noah Battle how was your sophomore season?
My sophomore season was full of new challenges and experiences coming in to start on Varsity. I was able to overcome some of these challenges to achieve a successful start to something special at Downers Grove North.
What does football mean to you?
Ever since I was as young as two years old, football has meant everything to me. The opportunity to build a brotherhood and compete every single day out of a season has been motivating. I truly love the sport and everything it has done for me.
What should college coaches know about you?
My main statement towards college coaches is that I bring hard work, and effort to any field I step on. Being a multi-sport athlete is also a part of the reason of my leadership type qualities. I have the ability to work with any type of person around me and the ability to learn as I continue to grow with the sport I love.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
I strongest trait on the football field is that I can keep the train moving. What I mean is that bouncing back through adversity and encouraging my teammates to fight is what I am best at doing. This also comes with holding myself, and my teammates accountable. I believe that through thick and thin, us as a team can get through it.
What is the level of excitement for this DGN program?
As a program, our excitement levels are extremely high for the potential of our team this upcoming year. Last year should not be a reflection on how next year will turn out. We are going to put out names out there and make a splash in the West Suburban Silver Conference.
What goals do you have for yourself this season?
For myself this year, I have goals of becoming all-conference as a running back. Not getting that title last year put a chip on my shoulder to compete and grind for it next year. My main goals for myself translate to DGN as a team. Personal stats are cool and all but being able to make playoffs and making a state title run is my main concern.
What is one secret talent you have that people may not know about you?
I always love when this question gets brought along. My whole life I have been in love with music. And with that being apart of my childhood, I have adapted that into making music. Whether this is making beats, or songwriting, some of my closest peers can say that I am better than the average person at it. It is almost like I have an attentive ear for music in a way.
