So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for lllinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Jarve Bey Jr. Homewood Flossmoor Class of 2025 6'3 270 OL/DL/ATH

Jarve Bey Jr how was your freshmen season?

I feel like for a freshman playing up on JV it was very good because I was only on defense for like 3 games and I had 4 sacks and I think 7 tackles because I switched from nose and defensive end. But I was starting on the offensive side of the ball at OG and I started every game and I did very good as you can see from my highlights

What does football mean to you?

Football is really my love, from the short time I’ve been playing for only 2 years. I feel like I’ve grown a love for it because I can just watch football on my phone, always playing madden, or playing football. Football is all around me and I really love it

What should college coaches know about you?

Coaches should always know about me is I’m always willing to push the team and set the tone in games and even when you already have a “star player” I will always work to become a captain and better than that player

What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?

I know my strongest trait is my strength and my footwork because I’m a big body they aren’t gonna get around me so when I put my hands inside they are either going down or helping me create a hole for my running back

What part of your game do you plan on working on in the offseason?

Probably on losing a little weight because I’m trying to move outside linebacker because I know how to figure out plays fast and quick and probably getting faster
