Awesome to finally stop by Marian Catholic today and thank you to Coach Lopez for the invite. This Marian Catholic team to me is a huge Darkhorse in the CCL/ESCC. The practice was the purest form of football, nothing fancy and down to nitty gritty. Love their athleticism and their underrated offensive line not to mention a defense that needs to be talked about more this preseason. They had a serious playoff shot last season but only got to 3 wins, but this Spartan team wants to play football in November. This group has a highly favorable schedule for 2022. They have the will and talent to do it. Biggest enemy will be like last season themselves, and they need that belief that they can do it. This team could be huge for the coming season and know Coach Lopez and staff will do their best to make sure of it. The Spartan backfield provides the biggest problems for defenses, how do you defend against a three-headed beast?
