Deep Dish Football Tour 2021: Stop #12 Oak Forest - New Attitude Bengals

Head Coach Anthony Malopsy

Coach Malopsy brings a new competitive edge to these Oak Forest Bengals for 2021. From his experience with Brother Rice coaching, there is no doubt in my mind that he will have this team back to their old winning ways. Love the style of practice he implements especially with the first saturday practice of the August month (Toughest Day). High energy and disciplined practice to help the kids focus on technique. Love the fact that Coach Olsen (former Brother Rice star) is part of the Oak Forest staff. Another young coach that ADs need to know about in the state of Illinois for a future head coaching spot. Really digging the OFHS passing attack along with their athletic WRs and underrated QB. Looking also at an overshadowed secondary that you can tell could be a huge asset to that defense. This Bengals actually under new leadership have a great shot at the IHSA playoffs this year. Hillcrest, Sycamore, Lemont will be their toughest obstacles this season. Key games are starting off with Westinghouse, and that Tinley Park game could be a real key as well. Really think a lot of people are overshadowing this team. Haven't been in the playoffs since 2016 during the McDonough Era.
