So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know, but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. Christopher Flachs how is your season going so far?
It’s going good we played well against QND and Alton. Our has been playing very together and our defense has also been playing well and we’re looking to improve each week throughout the season.
What should college coaches know about you?
They should know that I’m extremely driven and love to work hard and will do anything it takes to be successful.
What do you like about playing in the trenches?
What I like about playing in the trenches is the physicality that it takes to be able to play in the trenches.
What does football mean to you?
Football means a lot to me. I’ve been playing since I was in 3rd grade and really feel in love with it in 8th grade when I saw true potential in myself and haven’t looked back since.
How good is this Quincy squad?
This Quincy squad is really good. We return pretty much everyone on offense and a lot of people on defense. Our chemistry is very good and we’re planning on making a deep playoff run this year.
What goals do you have for yourself rest of the season?
To finish the season out strong and hopefully be an all-conference selection and be an all-state selection
Who is having breakout season on Quincy right now?
Adon Byquist is having a breakout season. He comes back off a season ending injury last year and has been a huge impact on the field on both sides of the ball.
